Key Responsibilities
Inspect products using appropriate methods, including measurement tools and comparisons to standards or customer specifications.
Verify that production line activities adhere to established standards and procedures.
Conduct root‑cause analysis to determine the source of defects.
Properly contain, label, and route non‑conforming products for rework.
Record inspection results and enter rework data into the quality database.
Accurately count accepted products and enter them into inventory.
Assist in creating PPAP documentation and performing first‑article inspections.
Communicate quality control measures to the production team to enhance product consistency.
Learn and operate additional inspection equipment such as dial indicators, optical comparators, and laser scanners.
Requirements & Skills
Understanding of English/metric units of measurement and tolerances on engineering drawings.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Google email.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
High attention to detail with a results‑driven mindset.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience with quality control techniques such as Six Sigma preferred.
Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
Prior inspection experience strongly preferred.
