Woodspear Properties is seeking a full-time Plumbing-Focused Maintenance Technician to support 224 units in Thornton, Colorado. We’re looking for a motivated, skilled technician with strong experience in residential/multifamily plumbing who can troubleshoot and complete repairs efficiently while delivering excellent service to residents. This role supports all the Colorado Properties and requires a technician who can manage plumbing work orders, perform preventative plumbing maintenance, and assist with emergency response as part of the on‑call rotation. Primary Responsibilities (Plumbing‑Specific)
Diagnose and repair common apartment plumbing issues, including: Leaks (supply lines, drains, faucets, valves) Running/clogged toilets and toilet rebuilds Drain clogs and slow drains Shower/tub and sink fixture repairs and replacements Perform water heater maintenance and repairs, including troubleshooting pilot/ignition issues and coordinating replacements as needed Identify and resolve water pressure and temperature concerns, leaks behind walls, and other plumbing‑related issues Respond to and complete plumbing service requests/work orders in a timely and professional manner Communicate plumbing findings, repair needs, and follow‑up recommendations clearly to supervisors and team members Coordinate with vendors when advanced plumbing repairs or replacements are required Participate in the on‑call rotation and respond promptly to plumbing emergencies (flooding, major leaks, loss of hot water, etc.) Maintain organization of parts, tools, and work orders to ensure efficient workflow Minimum Qualifications
Personal set of general plumbing and hand tools 1+ year of apartment or residential plumbing/maintenance experience preferred Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills High school diploma or equivalent Must pass drug screening and background check Compensation
$28.00–$40.00 per hour Paid Holiday, Vacation, and Sick time 401(k) with employer match On‑site housing available with a 20% discount
