New Graduate Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Oncology ICU – Nights Location: Winston‑Salem, NC, United States.

Department: Comprehensive Cancer Center, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center – 8 W Med Oncol ICU.

Status: Full time.

Hours per week: 35.1 (3 x 12‑hour night shifts, 7 p.m.–7 a.m.)

Schedule details / additional information: 3 12‑hour night shifts per week, holiday rotation, weekends.

Pay range: $34.90–$52.35.

Where You Will Work Join our dynamic 12‑bed inpatient and 2‑bed outpatient Medical Oncology ICU! We are a powerhouse team where expert care meets cutting‑edge innovation, and we are North Carolina’s only Medical Oncology ICU.

Imagine being part of the state’s exclusive ICU dedicated to adults with cancer and blood disorders. In the Medical Oncology Intensive Care Unit, nurses collaborate with board‑certified intensivists, oncologists, and pharmacists to deliver advanced, compassionate care for the most complex cases.

Our environment is high‑acuity and patient‑centered, with custom amenities for families and seamless teamwork across oncology services.

Expectations We’re Looking For

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.

Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

What You’ll Do

Play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skillful communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
