Household Manager and Personal Assistant
Location:
Charleston, SC (Needs to live in Downtown Charleston or Mount Pleasant).
Base pay range:
$80,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Household Manager to oversee daily household operations and ensure a smooth, well-coordinated home environment. In this role, you’ll manage staff, vendors, schedules, maintenance needs, and support family logistics — helping create a structured, welcoming, and efficiently run household.
RESPONSIBILITIES Household & Family Operations
Hire, train, and supervise household staff (e.g., housekeepers, nannies, chefs, drivers)
Oversee daily household operations, maintenance schedules, and vendor relationships
Manage household budgets, purchasing, and inventory control
Coordinate household repairs, contractor scheduling, and ongoing upkeep
Monitor household supply inventories and reorder proactively
Conduct regular household check-ins to confirm priorities and task completion
Support logistics and coordination for family needs and routines
Provide support when the Owner is traveling to ensure continuity of household care
Travel, Events & Personal Assistance
Coordinate family and personal travel, itineraries, and logistics as needed
Plan and support personal and family events
Assist with errands, household organization, special projects, and occasional light cleaning
Assist with pet care and occasional childcare support when required
Additional Responsibilities
Problem‑solve and respond calmly to unexpected household needs
Assist with family‑related coordination, communication, and planning
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Household Manager, Personal Assistant, Estate Manager, or similar role
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High level of discretion and confidentiality
Calm, proactive, and solutions‑focused mindset
Ability to adapt in a dynamic family environment
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Primarily in‑home with occasional outdoor or errand‑related tasks
Ability to work in varying South Carolina weather conditions
Valid driver’s license and ability to drive independently
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
Periodic bending/stooping and extended standing
