$19.23 per hour AGENCY DESCRIPTION One of the oldest organizations of its kind in the country, Community Partners in Action (CPA) was founded nearly 150 years ago to champion criminal justice reform and advocate for preserving the dignity of those in and out of prison. Through our programs that include reentry and housing, youth initiatives, a nationally recognized Prison Arts Program, and holistic alternatives to incarceration, we provide long-term impact that positively transforms individuals and society at large. Strong communication skills; must be computer literate. Ability to interact with people of diverse backgrounds. Must be organized, detail oriented and task focused. Knowledge of Word/EXCEL and database applications. Experience working in human services field preferred. Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) preferred. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES Welcome all visitors to the Greater Hartford Reentry Welcome Center. Initiate paperwork/process for new Reentry Welcome Center participants. Complete initial program paperwork with participants to determine (Service Path I & II) eligibility with guidance of Program Manager. Operate office computers, type and file program materials. Prepare and update program forms/files. Complete some case manager duties as assigned by Program Manager. Provide front desk coverage and efficiently coordinate phone calls and visitors. Maintain community resources and ensure referral information is up to date. Order and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment. Input data into CPA’s Salesforce Case Management System and maintain, update, and utilize the data, as directed by Program Manager. Attend meetings and record minutes. Coordinate daily flow of visits to the Center; ensure participants get to their proper program destination. Schedule and assist in preparation for meetings/groups/functions as required by Program Manager. Maintain and update statistical and program information. Ensure all participants and visitors sign in and out and maintain all documentation of logs. Maintain a courteous and professional presence. Establish and maintain appropriate boundaries with participants. Attend and participate in the required training as requested by the Program Manager. Serve as a role model to participants and staff by modeling pro-social behaviors. Schedule/coordinate staff training as directed by Program Manager. Provide administrative support to the Program Manager as directed.
