Job Summary The Service Coordinator will be deeply involved in the work order process, including opening work order headers and segments in Service Link, technician time entry into Service Link, receiving and entering technician service reports into Service Link, scheduling PSP/PIP work, customer purchase order requests, filing to history files, warranty claim pre‑prep, coordination, follow‑up and communication with the central warranty group and parts personnel through to claim closure, as well as clerical work such as payroll and scheduling.
Competencies
Strong computer skills, including typing and keyboarding at least 60 words per minute, and ability to use MS Word and Excel.
Superior organizational skills; works well with multiple people and communicates with various branches and departments.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong decision‑making skills, follow‑up drive, and attention to detail.
Excellent customer service skills.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Prior experience in a service department preferred.
Physical Requirements Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods, to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including a computer keyboard; and to communicate verbally. Noise level is usually quiet in office settings, moderate to loud in other situations with possible constant and sudden loud noises.
