Forklift Operator
Permanent Full Time position at Ryder in Morris, Illinois.
Pay:
Hourly $21.75
with weekly schedule Sunday - Wednesday 5:30 am – 4:00 pm.

Responsibilities
Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
Handle daily paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
Valid Forklift Operator’s License.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a diverse environment.
Highly thorough, dependable, punctual, and with a good attendance record.
Can perform work independently with minimal supervision and a high degree of initiative.
Demonstrates accuracy even under pressure.
Physical ability: lift/push/pull up to 35 lb, stand for long periods.
Adheres to health and safety methods and flexible on schedule.
Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
