We are seeking a dependable and hands‑on Second Shift Warehouse Supervisor (4pm-1am) to oversee warehouse operations during the second shift. This position is responsible for supervising warehouse staff, ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining safety and quality standards, and meeting productivity goals. Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities during the second shift, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, picking/packing, and loading/unloading. Monitor employee performance, assign tasks, and provide training, coaching, and disciplinary guidance as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Conduct shift meetings to communicate goals, updates, and safety topics. Collaborate with other shift supervisors and departments to ensure smooth handoffs and continuous workflow. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on shift performance. Resolve issues related to orders, equipment, or staffing in a timely and effective manner. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) as needed and ensure team is certified and compliant. Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. 5+ years of warehouse experience, with at least 3 in a supervisory role. Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory systems, and safety standards (e.g., OSHA). Proven experience operating stand‑up/each truck forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is required. Proficient with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods. Seniority Level
