Academic Records Specialist (Office of the Registrar)

Sonoran Desert Institute is seeking an experienced Academic Records Specialist to maintain student academic records, ensure compliance, and provide exceptional customer service. What You Will Be Doing

Proficiently use Anthology to perform all record maintenance duties. Analyze and update student records for accuracy and integrity. Educate students, staff, and faculty on institutional policies and procedures related to academic records. Collaborate with departments to apply best practices and meet regulatory requirements. Process enrollment documents, transfer credit evaluations, and background checks. Manage student billing, register coursework, and coordinate appeals processes. Prepare official transcripts and maintain communications throughout the student lifecycle. Document and update standard operating procedures and system processes. Leverage reporting tools within Anthology to create reports and automate processes. Requirements

Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. One year or more experience in record maintenance; experience in higher education preferred. Extremely detail‑oriented and able to manage high volume of data entry. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service. Organized, self‑starter, collaborative mindset. Experience with CampusVue/CampusNexus Student/Anthology strongly preferred. Computer skills in Word and Excel. Some travel up to 5%. Benefits
