Base pay range $25.00/hr - $35.00/hr
Job Description The Maintenance Technician works independently and with other plant personnel to perform preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks. He or she will troubleshoot issues, repair failures of production and facilities equipment, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. All tasks will be performed while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company.
Responsibilities
Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair of production equipment from basic hydraulic equipment to complex CNC machinery.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
Effectively troubleshoot failures and work in a team environment to determine root cause of failure.
Participate in plant shift meetings and continuous improvement activities.
Utilize CMMS system to manage work orders and review work history.
Ensure all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed before, during, and after the process to foster a positive safety culture.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education and/or a technical trade certificate a plus.
At least three years of experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and basic electrical repair.
Experience with PLC and CNC test equipment to include troubleshooting, repairs, PMs, and other world-class maintenance measures.
Experienced, preferably by formal training, in principles and standards for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment operations.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Highly motivated, disciplined problem-solver/troubleshooter.
Strong ethics and the ability to work in a team environment.
Experience demonstrating successful support of a positive safety culture.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation(s).
