Facilities Maintenance Assistant .
The Facilities Maintenance Assistant is directly responsible for the daily maintenance of all Club buildings, assets, and mechanical systems including grounds, landscaping, buildings, pools, furniture, and fixtures, and all repair and maintenance of said assets and systems that are generally and customarily required to be executed by maintenance personnel at a high-end, private club.
Responsibilities
Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas, including but not limited to: electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds.
Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture.
Maintains cleanliness and appearance of interior areas of the facility including but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture.
Identify and report to supervisor when supplies are needed.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as required.
Education and Experience Requirements
Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job.
Working Conditions
Frequently stands, walks and sits.
Regularly uses hands, pushes, pulls, reaches with arms and hands, talks and listens.
Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches.
Regularly lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles.
Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.
