Large package / furniture distribution centers in Southern California, Northern California, Texas, Georgia and New Jersey covering 9.2 M sq ft, plus another 1.2 M sq ft of standalone final‑mile furniture hubs
Small package eCommerce distribution centers in Mississippi and Arizona totaling 3.2 M sq ft with over 1,000 full‑time and 1,500 seasonal/temporary associates in Mississippi
Manufacturing upholstery factories in North Carolina and Mississippi with over 1,400 full‑time employees producing approximately $900 M–$1 B in sales
Transportation Department for ocean, air, trucking and rail with over 30 professionals in Memphis, TN
700 associates in sourcing offices in 10 countries across Asia and Europe
Material Handler Responsibilities
Utilize warehouse management system for putaway and picking transactions.
Operate material handling equipment to complete receiving and picking functions.
Conduct dock searches for cartons as needed and systemically account for all cartons moved in assigned areas.
Work with lead to prioritize hot orders.
Load and unload trailers using receiving electronic equipment.
Process receiving and labeling of inbound product, verifying overages, shortages and damaged product versus paperwork.
Execute daily put‑away duties, including placing product on all types and loading product to trailers.
Pick and putaway product from cross‑dock trailers and racks, verify product is on correct lanes.
Inspect all merchandise for damages and count discrepancies.
Safely and efficiently operate material handling tools and equipment.
Maintain a safe, organized and clean work area according to general warehousing practices and OSHA requirements.
Other duties as deemed necessary.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least 6 months of warehouse experience or 1 year of work history.
On‑site, in‑office role.
Excellent attendance and willingness to contribute to team duties.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and maintain strong attention to detail.
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Familiarity with warehouse management system functions.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure, fast learner.
Flexibility to work overtime as required.
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Experience with material handling equipment.
Familiarity with handheld scanner.
Physical Requirements
Continuous physical exertion – walking, bending, lifting, standing, climbing – must lift 65 lb minimum, with or without accommodation.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
Must use computer and electronic devices for long periods.
