Job Summary The Warehouse Supervisor is a hands‑on position. This role leads by example and is responsible for all aspects of the warehouse operation. The supervisor must be familiar with all positions in the warehouse to help out when necessary, ensuring that the shift runs smoothly and all work is completed efficiently and on time.

Shift:

11:00 pm – 7:00 am

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Lead warehouse employees: shift scheduling, maintain motivation and morale, training, conflict resolution, performance evaluations, attendance monitoring, and disciplinary action when appropriate.

Oversee operations: inventory management, shift start meetings, housekeeping, resolve shipping errors, and implement corrective actions.

Promote the company safety program, identify and eliminate risks, and drive safe working habits.

Assist with accident investigations as needed.

Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Coordinate with production, customer service, and distribution to meet external customer order fulfillment requirements accurately and on time.

Maintain high customer satisfaction with quality, accurate loads, and on‑time delivery while optimizing operational efficiencies.

Communicate effectively with Manager, shift lead, and employees to complete work efficiently and with minimal errors.

Follow chain‑of‑command and documentation procedures for supervisory matters.

Assist in training and integrating new employees.

Be familiar with all jobs in the department and help ensure daily goals are met.

Process weekly payroll.

Work flexible shifts as business and staffing needs change.

Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Execute assigned duties with minimal supervision.

Be available for required overtime to support business needs and critical situations.

Perform all duties satisfactorily and promptly, adhering to GMP.

Participate in special teams representing the warehouse department.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

High School Diploma – College Degree Preferred

2–5 years’ experience in a leadership role within a warehouse department or related area

ERP (SAP) experience desirable

Experience with “just in time” manufacturing preferred

Basic computer skills essential

Basic math skills

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work independently and to positively coach and motivate others

Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and ability to receive direction and organize work and staffing schedules

Ability to move at a quick pace.

Standing: long periods (up to 8 hours).

Sitting: moderate, at a desk operating a computer.

Walking: frequent.

Bending, twisting & stretching: frequent.

Lifting: heavy (50+ lbs) frequent.

Carrying: heavy (40–60 lbs) frequent.

Pushing/pulling: up to approximately 250 lbs drag weight without assistance frequent; wheeled weight up to approximately 800 lbs occasionally.

Environment: refrigerated and non‑refrigerated areas with temperatures from 34 °F to 85 °F.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location.

Pay range:

$69,300 – $74,500 USD
