Warehouse Material Handler – Part-Time
Location:
Charleston, SC (part of HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital)
Position type:
Part‑Time – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday.
Job Summary As a Warehouse Material Handler, you will perform administrative and physical tasks within the warehouse, storing and distributing products, materials, supplies, and equipment to points of care within the network.
Responsibilities
Ensure clinicians have supplies needed for high quality care.
Read, follow, and execute tasks per sequence defined by electronic or hard‑copy instructions and workflow.
Process receiving of product against purchase orders, ensuring proper quantity and quality.
Physically put away product into designated locations.
Maintain accuracy of material inventory and locations, performing cycle counts as needed.
Pick and pack material in an organized manner in preparation for staging.
Stage material for loading and shipping for final delivery.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse; keep receiving areas, shipping areas, aisles, and racks free of hazards.
Assist with annual physical inventory; ensure all assignments are completed accurately.
Conduct duties promoting safety and complying with OSHA standards.
Qualifications
Must be able to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Forklift certification preferred.
Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
