JOB TITLE & COMPENSATION
JBS is seeking an hourly SHIPPING & RECEIVING LEAD 1st Shift Team Member! Position starts at $22.00 per hour.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervising a team of employees, up to 15, to achieve business results.
Achieves production targets in a safe and efficient manner.
Coordinates production activities with procurement, maintenance, warehouse, and quality departments to achieve and sustain results.
Supports production personnel by maintaining a visible presence on the production floor.
Maintains an engaged and team‑oriented workforce.
Provides Support to Company Policies and Procedures
Creates an environment that expresses concern and consistency toward all team members.
Promotes cooperation and dedication to superior workmanship among all team members.
Provides training for team members on company policies, rules, regulations and job‑specific duties and responsibilities.
Monitors and enforces adherence to GMP’s and specifications. Maintains high levels of sanitation, housekeeping and product quality.
Follow daily work schedule and reports variances.
Encourages best use of energy and resources with minimal waste.
Regularly reviews all applicable legislation and applicable standards to ensure company compliance.
Ensure that all incidents are reported immediately.
Participates in the determining of the root causes of incidents.
Keep up‑to‑date on all company safety policies, OSHA, and other regulatory standards.
Notify maintenance of issues regarding equipment maintenance.
May assume other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requires ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lb.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Additional qualifications as needed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT The work environment may include cold and/or hot temperatures for majority of the work shift. It may also require the use of sharp tools such as knives.
LOCATION & ADOPTION The Company is dedicated to ensuring a safe and secure environment for our team members and visitors.
