Maintenance Technician 2 (Conveyor Systems) – OnTrac

Location: 2270 US Highway 130, Dayton, NJ 08810

Pay: $34.65 - 42.35/hr (DOE)

Shift: Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Must-Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.

1+ years related experience or training in mechanical and electrical equipment, or equivalent.

Welding experience is required.

Current Driver's License and clean driving record.

Your Mission In Motion

Ensure proper operation of conveyor systems and material handling equipment.

Maintain and perform preventive maintenance on conveyor systems.

Change and repair parts of conveyor systems, rebuild and align equipment, gears, shafts, pulleys, and belts.

Use illustrated parts breakdown manuals and operational manuals for repair, modification, and maintenance.

Perform housekeeping duties, including work area clean-up and equipment clean-up.

Conduct daily inspections of machinery for potential problems.

Respond after hours when needed to keep MHS systems operating at optimum capacity.

Maintain a safe work environment by following policies and procedures outlined in the Company Safety Program.

Work independently and collaborate with maintenance team members.

Paving Your Way To Your Success

Learn and follow safety regulations and job instructions.

Knowledge of Material Handling Systems (MHS), industrial conveyor systems, controls, VFDs, PLC, Electronic motors (480V).

Programming, GUI, or HMI experience is a plus.

Knowledge of LOTO, PM’s, and 3-Phase electrical work.

Ability to read and understand schematics and electrical blueprints.

Mechanical work experience.

Industrial electrical knowledge a plus.

Welding experience a plus.

Knowledge of OSHA requirements.

Flexible schedule to accommodate 24 hr. operations; occasional extended hours, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to lift 60 pounds on a routine basis.

Good time management skills, ability to work independently and as a team.
