What You'll Do: As a Laminating Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and quality of our finished packaging and printed products. You will be directly responsible for the efficient operation, setup, and maintenance of our lamination machinery, guaranteeing materials meet our stringent quality standards.

Set up the laminating machine, including adjusting pressure, temperature, speed, tension, and alignment settings according to the job ticket specifications.

Load and thread parent rolls of film and substrate materials onto the machine shafts and unwind stands.

Monitor the laminating process continuously to ensure consistent material feeding, proper adhesive application, and accurate alignment.

Inspect finished laminated material visually and dimensionally for defects such as bubbles, wrinkles, tunnels, foreign matter, and delamination.

Perform quality control tests, including adhesion checks, using required measuring instruments.

Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical, electrical, or operational issues during the run to minimize downtime.

Record production data, material usage, quality checks, and maintenance activities accurately in production logs.

Perform routine preventative maintenance and cleaning on the machine, including adhesive pans, rollers, and dies.

Follow all safety protocols, procedures, and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Communicate effectively with shift supervisors, maintenance staff, and team members regarding production status and issues.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.

What You Bring to the Table:

A high school diploma or G.E.D. (required).

1+ years of experience operating lamination, slitting, printing, or other web‑fed machinery in a manufacturing environment.

Intermediate mechanical aptitude to set up, operate, and make adjustments to production machinery.

Strong understanding of quality control principles and ability to use measuring tools (e.g., rulers, micrometers).

Competence with Google Workspace and basic data entry software for logging production metrics.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Driven, self‑motivated, and an innovative problem‑solver.

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Professional verbal and written communication skills.
