As a Warehouse Associate, you will help our warehouse run smoothly by filling, packaging and shipping orders in a timely manner while ensuring products are received and handled correctly throughout their lifecycle through proper scheduling, communication and procedures. Responsibilities
Fill, package and ship orders accurately and on time using a radio‑frequency gun (RF).
Process incoming product promptly and check for damage.
Determine the status of orders at any given time.
Answer the telephone politely and accurately, take messages or forward calls appropriately.
Manage the hold area by following tag‑and‑hold procedures and keeping it clear.
Follow any special instructions pertaining to an order.
Report quality or inventory discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager or Inventory Control Specialist.
Label outbound material with the correct shipping label.
Match documents and system data to actual quantities/items picked.
Keep the warehouse area clean and organized.
Follow all safety procedures.
Qualifications
Good computer knowledge and the ability to learn First Supply’s business system.
Strong organizational skills related to managing paperwork and time.
Ability to work within a fast‑paced environment with multiple interruptions.
Preference for experience with handheld RF units.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
