About the Role The Maintenance Technician Level II reports to the Facilities Manager/Team Leader. This position provides general oversight for third‑party vendors performing work within the Credit Union buildings or on Credit Union property. It also provides general maintenance to the credit union’s facilities and grounds as assigned, ensuring buildings and properties are clean, safe, and compliant.

Responsibilities

Operate a motor vehicle to transport yourself, mail, supplies, and tools between facilities.

Supervise testing and repairs of HVAC and electrical work in the absence of a Regional Maintenance Team Lead.

Attend training sessions, conferences, or seminars as approved.

Complete daily tasks promptly and efficiently.

Maintain and protect sensitive data, following confidentiality and cybersecurity guidelines.

Keep supervisor advised of status of all major projects and concerns.

Perform daily general maintenance duties, including moving boxes, supplies, equipment, and routine preventative maintenance.

Process interoffice mail and parcels securely within prescribed timeframes.

Perform Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) functions as applicable.

Maintain storage areas and transport boxes and supplies to credit union branches and departments.

Assist and monitor outside vendors and contractors, ensuring credit union best interests.

Perform inspections to ensure compliance with Gesa policy and procedures.

Apply working knowledge of structural elements, basic electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems for diagnostics and maintenance.

About You

Possess thorough knowledge of maintenance required to sustain credit union facilities.

Experience working indoors in a professional atmosphere and outdoors in inclement weather, including extreme temperatures.

Understanding of blueprints and electrical schematics.

Basic carpentry skills, including changing outdoor hardware.

Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, saws, pliers, cutters, and levels.

Basic knowledge of electrical equipment operations.

Skilled in painting, electrical, or HVAC maintenance.

Valid driver’s license; capable of fueling, checking fluids, and maintaining a clean vehicle.

Team‑player.

Computer literate: Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and daily payroll time‑sheet logging.

Respect diversity; treat people with respect and maintain integrity.

Effective communicator.

Excellent customer service attributes.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.

Five to seven years of related experience or equivalent education/experience.

Experience with standard building maintenance.

Demonstrated interpersonal skills to relate professionally with members, the public, and colleagues.

Travel may be required.

Salary Range $19.50 – $31.26 per hour. Most new team members start between the minimum and midpoint based on experience and qualifications. Pay increases with experience and performance.
