Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while maintaining policies and procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide training and create work schedules. Evaluate performance of workers, reward high performers, and discipline employees who fail to meet standards. Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure the unit meets quality, productivity, and safety expectations. Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off. Mentor, develop employees, and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement.
