Sr Warehouse Associate at Cencora
Location: Whitestown, IN, USA.
Shift:
Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - Finish.
Pay:
$20/hour.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
Receiving, picking and staging customer orders, returns, shipping and inventory organization, management and control.
Verify merchandise received against shipment records, inspect and report discrepancies and defects.
Stock shelves, ensuring materials are in designated areas.
Use a radio‑frequency (RF) device to aid in picking or packing stock and/or other inventory tasks.
Assemble customer orders by pulling items from shelves, placing them in totes to be packed and shipped; identify quantities and customer specifications.
Enter orders, returns and related data into the computer system.
Inspect returned items and return merchandise to its proper shelf location.
Accurately complete daily inventory counts and research discrepancies.
Assist with inventory procedures as requested.
Perform controlled substance picking, stocking, replenishment and order fulfillment in a cage/vault or refrigerated environment, when required.
Operate forklifts, reach trucks and/or other motorized equipment to move inventory.
Assist in training new associates.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Experience And Educational Requirements Completion of a high school diploma, general education degree (GED), or an equivalent combination of experience and education; one (1) or more years of work experience.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge And Ability Requirements
Read and understand English language to compare product descriptions, names, and shelf labels.
Possess basic mathematical skills.
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Strong organizational skills; detail oriented.
Good overall understanding of DC workflow; can work with minimal guidance.
Maintain a clean work area to ensure merchandise cleanliness and prevent work‑related injuries.
Use good judgment to carry out detailed instructions.
Basic computer knowledge preferred.
Work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.
Team player, demonstrate effective communication and problem‑solving skills.
May require ability and certification to operate power equipment at high levels (20’‑40’) such as reach trucks, picker machines, forklifts and comply with all safety standards and OSHA requirements.
May require hazmat training certification.
Maintain appropriate attendance standards.
Ability to train and assist associates as needed.
