Contract opportunity as a Facilities Technician
Duration: 12 Months
Be able to support maintenance and repairs across 7 buildings.
Job Description:
Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the facility's structure, equipment and grounds, including all trades (mechanical, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.).
Perform trades work, such as carpentry or painting, in the construction, repair or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs or office fixtures.
Conduct routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.
Use blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
Apply knowledge of applicable standards or regulations, and may require specific trade certifications.
Must-Haves (Hard Skills)
General strong trade experience/knowledge
Basic PC/Microsoft Office skills (navigate email/timecards, use software for work orders/emails, etc.)
Follow EHS policies and procedures
Education Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
