Security Installation Technician II to perform installations of electronic security systems and work independently and along with other technicians to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency in all installations. Responsibilities
Install, program and configure electronic security systems for commercial clients, including door access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, low‑voltage communication, electronic locks, point sensors, signaling devices, and other security systems. Troubleshoot, evaluate, diagnose, and integrate new and existing installations to ensure the systems are functioning properly and meet industry standards. Run electrical wiring, including drilling, trenching, and aerial runs. Responsible for the connection of control panels, application requirements, wire concealment and security software installation. Qualifications (must have)
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record, and sufficient insurance as required by company policy. Minimum of two years of experience in physical security, fire alarm, low‑voltage communication systems, including installation, troubleshooting, programming and running medium to large projects. Military veterans are encouraged to apply, especially those with experience as an electronics technician or aviation technician. Ability to obtain and maintain state‑specific licenses as required. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and ability to navigate multiple systems efficiently. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for clear documentation and reporting. Highly skilled in troubleshooting, mechanical and electronics skills; adept with hand and power tools. Willingness to handle on‑call duties, respond to emergency service requests, and travel overnight as needed. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively to complete tasks and meet deadlines. Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work at various ladder heights. Preferred Qualifications (nice to have)
Experience in the electronic security industry. Experience with any of the following: Software House, CCURE, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Brivo, Milestone, ExacqVision, Axis, Bosch, Commend, DMP, Open Options, Notifier, Fluidmesh or ONSSI. Benefits
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 hourly. Medical, dental, vision, retirement plan, basic life, AD&D, and disability insurance. Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days. Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly. Unused vacation is only paid out where required by law. Closing
