Inventory Cycle Counter / Clerk
General Summary
Daily Instruments is seeking a hands‑on Inventory Cycle Counter / Clerk to join our rapidly growing manufacturing support team. This position is responsible for performing accurate cycle‑counts, monitoring inventory levels and verifying inventory within and between inventory storage systems (SAP, ERP, manufacturing specific); and troubleshooting solutions to provide the most accurate inventory information to both our external and internal customers. The successful Inventory Cycle Counter will ensure that projects are completed accurately, in strict compliance with ISO & QA requirements, and in a timely basis to meet production and shipping requirements. This is an Entry‑Level position that will perform work in a crowded and busy fabrication shop environment. Essential Job Functions
Issue raw materials to shop in a timely manner to maintain production schedules Perform data entry functions into Physical Inventory system Perform regular cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory to ensure inventory accuracy Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records; Drive analysis and deliver improvements to network‑level inventory attributes. Such as but not limited to : slotted locations, item dimensions, inventory coding, harmonization codes, quantities, delivery dates, etc. Monitor and analyze inventory accuracy between inventory storage systems. Drive and / or support in troubleshooting network level inventory issues and discrepancies, as needed. Prepare inventory control reports as needed. Perform data entry functions into Physical Inventory system, accuracy is paramount. Research, troubleshoot and assist with resolving discrepancies between physical counts and computer records. Provide backup and / or training to stockroom, as needed. Contributes to cohesive team effort by accomplishing related tasks, and demonstrating dependability / reliability. Job Qualifications
High School diploma, or equivalent required, Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel Strong Team Work orientation Dependable and Reliable production on‑demand orientation Strong logical and analytical and problem‑solving skills Experience working in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred Highly organized with the ability to prioritize changing priorities Proven success in a detail‑oriented position with high level of accuracy Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a crowded, busy production fabrication shop environment Other
Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer other than current employer Must be fluent in English, any other language skills are beneficial Strong interpersonal and communication skills with technical or engineering terminology, concepts Comfortable working a fast‑paced environment, with rapidly changing priorities Must be able to perform duties in an office environment as well as a fabrication shop environment with limited‑work space or noisy work environment Able to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and nights, as needed Climate‑controlled production shop facility all year round Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
