Warehouse Associate
We’re hiring
Warehouse Workers / Warehouse Associates
to support daily warehouse operations in NYC. You’ll help keep inventory organized, orders picked and packed accurately, and shipments moving on schedule. This is a hands‑on role for someone dependable, safety‑minded, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment (labeling, staging, and verifying accuracy).
Receive inbound deliveries, unload cartons/pallets, and confirm quantities against paperwork.
Sort, scan, and shelve inventory using barcode scanners and warehouse systems.
Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow safety procedures always.
Assist with inventory counts/cycle counts and basic stock organization (FIFO when applicable).
Build/stack pallets safely and help with loading outbound shipments.
Report damaged goods, missing items, or inventory discrepancies to a supervisor.
Support general warehouse tasks as needed (returns processing, kitting, rebooking).
Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
Comfortable lifting up to
50 lbs
(with reasonable accommodation where required).
Reliable attendance and punctuality (warehouse schedules are time‑sensitive).
Basic English communication (written/verbal).
Comfortable using a smartphone/scanner and following step‑by‑step instructions.
Ability to work in a warehouse setting (temperature changes, noise, moving equipment).
6 + months experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, order picking, or fulfillment.
Experience with barcode scanners, WMS tools, or inventory tracking.
Pallet jack experience (manual/electric).
Forklift certification (or willingness to train, if offered).
