family of companies has an exciting opportunity to join their team as Seasonal Warehouse Associate at our Litchfield, CT store! This is Full-Time Seasonal opportunity to help us through our busy season. Must have weekend availability. Blue Seal offer a generous employee discount.
This position is designed and intended to be performed in Litchfield, CT.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Loading and unloading bagged feeds and related products to our customers, both commercial and private
Ability to safely operate a hand truck and a forklift
Operate all equipment in a safe manner and obey all safety rules
Receive and accurately load and rotate product
Maintain the warehouse, loading areas, and pole barn in a neat and orderly fashion
Report any safety concerns while performing essential duties
Other duties as assigned by Store Management
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to lift 55 lbs. to a height of 50 inches
Demonstrate a consistent track record of employment
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Must pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical
Effective communication
Understanding of feed products and willingness to learn and grow
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or GED
