Position Summary A Mike’s Carwash Wash Associate is on the front line of customer service. They perform the roles of Service Advisor, Director, and ensure the facility is always clean and prepared for customers according to our high standards.
Primary Responsibilities
Execute the Mike’s Purpose: Provide the best value for our boss, the customer, by delivering a clean, quick, car wash every time, with a smile.
Service Advising: Greet and advise customers of Mike’s products/services and process sales transactions.
Directing: Safely prep and direct the vehicle into the wash tunnel.
Abide by our Values: Safety, Integrity, Teamwork, Fun, Accountability, Passion.
Customer Satisfaction: Maintain the interior and exterior of the property so customers always feel comfortable. Keep all customer‑related material stocked and clean, rain or shine.
Training: Participate in extensive training to keep your skills in production up to date. Ask for assistance from the management team if you have any questions regarding the Service Advisor or Director job expectations.
Required Work Schedule
Must work all scheduled shifts unless notified otherwise by management.
Attend scheduled Team Meetings.
Must be available to work 2 of the 3 following days: Friday, Saturday, and/or Sunday.
Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires the employee to communicate verbally and in writing, hear at a conversational level, use vision for depth perception and to distinguish between basic shades and colors. While performing the duties of this position, the employee will continuously be required to stand or walk, occasionally be required to sit, stoop, reach, and/or twist at the waist while rotating, perform repetitive movements, use hands for gripping pressure, and operate hand and foot controls. The employee will infrequently be required to lift 50 lbs. for up to 3 feet, occasionally be required to pull 10 lbs. for up to 10 feet and carry up to 50 lbs. for 10 feet, and may also be required to repeatedly bend, kneel, and balance. The employee will rarely be required to climb stairs and ladders.
Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee will rarely be required to work with machinery with moving parts and wear gloves. The wash associate will frequently be required to work indoors and outdoors in temperatures of 0-100 degrees Fahrenheit. The employee will frequently be required to work with chemicals and wear eye or hearing protection.

Language Development: Ability to read product manuals and reports, workplace rules and procedures; using understandable English; speak with poise and confidence and/or effectively deal with customers.
