Southern Baptists of Texas Convention
We are seeking a qualified candidate who can oversee our youth ministry. We currently only have a handful of youth, but we have several committed families in our church, so we are just looking for the right person to lead this important ministry.
Our new student minister will also be given opportunities to preach and perform other pastoral responsibilities if he wants to gain more experience.
Qualifications
Character qualifications found in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1
Passion for ministry
Good understanding of God’s Word and an ability to teach it
Job Description
Plan and organize events (D-Now, camps, mission projects, and other activities)
Regular meetings with the senior pastor
Teaching the youth on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights
There are no required office hours, and we are happy to be flexible with the right person if he has other commitments such as school or another job.
