Dispatcher Lead, Public Safety

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR The Dispatch Lead, Public Safety reports to the Supervisor, Public Safety Dispatch. This position is responsible for the intermediate leadership and support to the Public Safety Dispatchers and will assist the Supervisor, Public Safety in the supervision of the daily activities. Assist in radio dispatching of transit security officers to calls for service, monitoring transit security officer activities and locations and making accurate and concise data updates to the Computer Aided Dispatch computer system. Perform computer clearances and information searches using the National Crime Information System (NCIC) and Texas Crime Information System (TCIC). When necessary, this position will monitor transit system videos to support transit security operations.
