Do you have a knack for fixing things and a passion for keeping spaces running smoothly? Greek Peak Mountain Resort is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to ensure our buildings, grounds, and equipment remain in top‑notch condition. In this essential role, you’ll help create a welcoming and safe environment for guests by performing a range of maintenance tasks across the resort. If you’re a problem‑solver who enjoys variety and hands‑on work, this is the perfect role for you!
Applicants MUST be at least 18 years old and have WEEKEND availability.
What You’ll Do:
Preventative Maintenance: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on resort buildings and fixtures, ensuring all systems are running smoothly.
Support Resort Operations: Help other departments with maintenance tasks, from guest room repairs to assisting with new construction and resort upgrades.
Ensure Safety and Cleanliness: Monitor the resort’s buildings and grounds for safety and neatness, reporting any urgent issues that require immediate attention.
Respond to Guest Needs: Address maintenance requests from guests promptly, with a focus on ensuring satisfaction.
Seasonal Groundskeeping: Assist with snow removal in winter and lawn care in summer, keeping our resort beautiful year‑round.
Expand Your Skills: Be open to cross‑training opportunities in other areas, like shuttle bus services, to broaden your expertise.
Who We're Looking For:
Experienced and Skilled: You have at least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in construction or a related field, with skills in light plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
Customer‑Focused: Friendly, approachable, and committed to helping create an enjoyable guest experience.
Detail‑Oriented and Reliable: Able to keep accurate records of maintenance tasks and follow through on assignments.
Flexible and Physically Fit: Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Licensed to Drive: A valid driver’s license is preferred.
