Customer Service Associate - Temporary
Walgreens is hiring a temporary Customer Service Associate to support daily retail operations. The position offers flexible scheduling and is open until filled.
Base Pay Range $15.00/hr – $17.50/hr
Responsibilities
Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
Greet customers and patients, offering assistance with products and services to ensure a positive experience.
Register sales on assigned cash register, providing courteous, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
Recommend items for sale, including trade‑up and companion items, and assist with photo services and web pick‑up orders.
Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine.
Maintain counters and shelves clean and well‑merchandised, take inventory, and perform restocks using first‑in, first‑out.
Implement company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco.
Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and super structures; complete resets and revisions as directed.
Assist with separation of food items, product placement, and stock rotation per policies.
Maintain working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
Assume web pick‑up responsibilities and interior/exterior maintenance to ensure a clean, orderly store condition.
Comply with all company policies and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Training & Personal Development
Attend training and complete PPLs requested by the Manager or assigned by corporate.
Basic Qualifications
Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Exception: Puerto Rico)
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
