Description The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and organization of the warehouse, job sites, and inventory. The role serves as the central point for all shipping and receiving, maintaining organized workflows, completing required paperwork in a timely manner, and communicating effectively with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders. The Coordinator’s efforts directly impact operational success and customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities (Not exhaustive)
Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and/or job site.
Effectively track inventory and organize stocks.
Operate vehicles and mechanized equipment such as forklifts and passenger vehicles.
Act as the point of contact for all receiving activities.
Inspect deliveries for defects or damages and report findings to vendors.
Manage vendor returns and maintain the tool room and assets.
Update inventory records accurately and timely.
Maintain an OSHA and RMC compliant warehouse.
Pick up or deliver materials as needed and travel as required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment.
Experience in warehouse management and using inventory management systems.
Experience running reports and creating queries.
Familiarity with industry-specific terminology and equipment.
Excellent written, verbal, and listening interpersonal skills.
Strong organization, planning, and multi-tasking skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Time management, attention to detail, and a clear, concise communication style.
Outgoing and charismatic personality with problem‑solving capabilities.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
OSHA 10 Certification is required.
Forklift certification is required.
Minimum one year of related experience.
Physical Requirements
Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
Use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls.
Reach with hands and arms.
Regularly stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds.
