Shift and Hours 1st Shift (8:00AM – 4:00PM)
Position Summary This position is responsible for shipping and receiving raw materials and finished product.
Essential Functions
Responsible for the accuracy of all inventories by performing daily audits.
Maintain accurate inventory levels through daily and monthly cycle counts and annual year‑end physical inventories.
Own the entire life cycle of damaged, misplaced, or missing products from the time the exception is detected to the resolution of the issue.
Track and report daily to management on inventory accuracy and cycle count progress.
Use Warehouse Management Software and Excel to sort through cycle count data.
Operate Order Picker (Cherry Picker), Sit‑Down Forklift, Reach Trucks, and other industrial equipment.
Additional job duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
At least 1 year of experience with cycle counts or in a similar role.
Forklift experience required; certification is preferred.
Basic to intermediate computer and typing knowledge, including shipping product via UPS and FedEx.
Knowledge of warehouse operations such as product allocation, receiving and shopping.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Warehouse Management Software and data entry experience.
Must be able to work overtime including weekends as required.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
Ability to safely operate a lift truck and pallet‑jack.
Reaching, bending, and stooping are also required.
Environmental Conditions
The Distribution Center is a heated and partially air‑conditioned facility with adequate lighting.
Atmospheric conditions will vary according to the weather due to opening and closing of dock doors.
Good Manufacturing Practices for Food Safety All Operations employees are responsible for the safety and quality of ViskoTeepak products. Any food safety and quality issues must be reported to the supervisor immediately. Back‑up operators for this position will be advised of this and must be properly trained to run this operation using appropriate sanitation and food safety procedures.
