Role Summary Senior Communication Specialist develops and executes communication strategies to enhance employee engagement, align messaging with corporate objectives, and support digital and traditional communication channels. Creates and delivers compelling content that engages employees and strengthens the company’s culture. Senior Communication Specialist works closely with key stakeholders to ensure all internal and external communication is clear, consistent, and aligned with the company’s goals and values.

Duties and Responsibilities Internal Communication

Crafts clear, concise, and engaging messages that effectively convey important updates, announcements, initiatives, and organizational information.

Ensures messages are aligned with the company's mission, vision, and values (the ADES WAY) to reinforce a cohesive internal identity.

Works with the different program owners to plan and deliver internal communication initiatives that foster organizational knowledge‑sharing and understanding.

Creates engaging content for the internal communications channels (intranet, email, in‑person events, virtual events, etc.).

Develops compelling content, including written, visual, and multimedia materials, to deliver information in an impactful and relatable manner.

Creates presentations, videos, graphics, and other materials that resonate with employees and support communication goals.

Digital Marketing & Content Management

Oversees website content updates, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and corporate messaging.

Implements SEO strategies to optimize digital content visibility and reach.

Develops engaging digital campaigns to promote internal initiatives ensuring these campaigns align with the organization’s values and culture.

Employee Engagement

Designs, coordinates, and executes initiatives that foster employee engagement, including events, town halls and campaigns that promote a sense of belonging and active participation.

Internal Branding

Ensures consistent communication of the company’s brand, culture, and values, reinforcing a strong internal identity and sense of purpose.

Works closely with different functions to brand their internal and external initiatives in the organization.

Measurement and Analytics

Tracks and analyzes key metrics such as engagement rates and feedback to evaluate the impact of communication efforts and inform adjustments.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Collaborates with various departments, including P&O and leadership teams, to align communication strategies with organizational objectives.

Supports crisis communication efforts by ensuring timely and accurate messaging.

Collects and analyzes feedback to continuously improve communication effectiveness.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Digital Marketing, or a related discipline is required.

Minimum 6 years of professional experience in communications, digital marketing, or corporate communications.

Significant preference will be given to candidates with direct experience in the oil and gas industry within the Gulf region.
