Job Description
Complete knowledge of all food and beverage menu items and daily specials. Understand and meet sequence of service requirements for the Back Waiter/Food Specialist position as well as all requirements for the rest of the serving team. Provide initial greeting to guests alongside the front waiter. Greet guests if the front server is occupied. Offer water service and maintain beverages throughout the meal. Deliver bread service to the table and demonstrate outstanding service skills. Memorize scripted presentation for bread service. Know all menu items and cooking methods, and answer guest questions accurately. Remove dirty ware and replace with clean ware. Prepare the table for delivery of the next course. Maintain a clean table throughout the meal, removing crumbs as needed. Provide coffee service to the table as required. Thank guests upon departure per scripted requirements. Clear and reset tables and maintain floor cleanliness throughout the assigned station. Perform any other duties as assigned by management. Additional Information
