Duties / Responsibilities

Cleaning the front areas of the kitchen and food storage.

Clean large equipment such as refrigerators, counters, serving lines, and tabletops.

Keep entire area clean and ready for certified inspection at any time.

Complete opening/closing sheets.

Ensure all fueling stations are full 24/7.

Practice FIFO (first in, first out) method.

Keep track of all expiration dates for all grab and go items.

Percentage Of Time:

60% front-of-house cleaning, 40% stocking.

Position Summary The Server will assist the Culinary Service Manager in executing front of house service for Georgia Football. The employee will assist with the day-to-day operation of FOH and will follow proper cleaning and sanitation procedures while multitasking. They will also be responsible for stocking front of house, which includes fueling stations, food service lines, and tabletops.

Relevant / Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Minimum of 1 year experience in food service. ServSafe certification preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies Knowledge of health and food safety codes for food preparation, storage, and serving. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with culinary team. Ability to follow instructions with daily tasks given, including but not limited to stocking and clean up. Previous experience in a culinary/restaurant position and ServSafe Certification.

Physical Demands Lift, move, push and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40 lbs. Work while handling outdoor temperatures for a reasonable period of time. Move around campus, which includes gym, turf, fields, etc. Work flexible hours to include nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
