Who we are looking for: Clinical Supervisor Therapist The perfect candidate will share our passion for improving and expanding access to quality mental health care and will thrive in a culture that emphasizes autonomy, flexibility, creativity, authenticity, humor, compassion, acceptance, and determination. This role offers opportunities for individual, family, group therapy, and Telehealth. The Clinical Supervisor will informally lead a site‑based team, partnering with the Clinic Director and Franchise Owner to drive KPIs that support positive impacts for clinicians and community members.

Clinical Supervisor Based Responsibilities and Duties

Up to 3 hours per week for clinical supervision meetings with pre‑licensed staff (1 hour per supervising staff, up to 3 supervisees)

Up to 2 hours per week for clinical notes sign‑off for pre‑licensed staff

Point of contact for supervisees on clinician productivity, unrecorded/unsigned notes, treatment plans, intake paperwork, balance or ledger questions, training needs, orientation follow‑ups, clinical consultation, or treatment plan support

Track hours with supervisees for full licensure documentation and sign‑off

Communicate consistent trends or escalations to the Clinical Director for added leadership and support where needed

Clinician Therapist Based Responsibilities and Duties

Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create and implement treatment plans, and complete ongoing documentation including further diagnoses, treatment plan reviews, and case notes per company policy

Maintain a caseload of a minimum of 27 client visits per week as a Full‑Time Clinical Supervisor (30–32); if supervising 1 PLPC, 25 clients (28–30); if supervising 2 PLPCs, 24 clients (26–27); if supervising 3 PLPCs, 22 clients (24–25)

Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community

Utilize creative interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals

Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol

Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed

Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings

Other responsibilities as needed to support the team and clients

Required Qualifications and Skills

Master’s degree or higher in behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university

Clinical licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) with a valid state of Missouri license

Licensed or eligible to be a Missouri Board‑Approved Clinical Supervisor

Ability and eligibility to supervise up to three provisionally licensed therapists (PLPC, LMSW, or PLMFT)

Experience completing DAs, treatment plans, and clinical case notes

Experience with children, adolescents, and teens

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated ability to maintain appropriate boundaries with clients

Timely completion and submission of documentation of services and related documents

Comfort working with a diverse client base

Proficiency with typical office technology and Electronic Health Record systems

Ability to pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Experience with children, individuals, couples, or families

General knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and prior mental health documentation experience
