Overview Touchmark in the West Hills is Portland, Oregon’s leading full-service retirement community, enriching the lives of residents and their families through five-star hospitality, services and amenities. We are currently seeking enthusiastic people to join our team of Health and Fitness Club Member Services Representatives.
As a Member Services Representative, you will enrich lives each day by warmly welcoming and directing all incoming members and guests, as well as serving as a “go-to” person for fitness club members, residents, guests, and team members who have questions or need assistance.
Responsibilities In addition to providing excellent hospitality to club members and visitors over the telephone and at the Member Services desk, the Member Services Representative is also responsible for duties such as ensuring that the fitness equipment, locker rooms, and aquatic center are exceptionally clean and safe; testing the chemical levels in the pool and spa on a regular basis; and providing towel/laundry service.
Schedule Part-time position – Saturdays from 7:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Requirements
Commitment to Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion) and desire to model and encourage these values.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant in a busy setting, or similar customer‑service/hospitality role.
Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
Enthusiastic, positive attitude toward fitness for all age groups.
Comfortable answering phones while greeting and providing information to members.
Excellent at handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and basic office equipment.
Ability to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff, and visitors.
