Base salary: $20.00–$22.50 per hour (based on experience and business needs).

Responsibilities Operations
Execute teller banking transactions in accordance with Popular’s policies, procedures, legal and regulatory requirements.
Process payments and receipts for all product types accurately and courteously, following established policies.
Reference the client by name in all transactions to provide personalized service.
Maintain the minimum cash balance in the teller area and secure cash as per policies and safety measures.
Restock and balance assigned cash drawer, ATMs, cash recyclers, and vaults as needed.
Assist in processing night depository bags, currency, and ATM settlements.
Act in accordance with all bank policies and regulations to ensure branch passes assessment and audits.
Sales
Work with branch manager and supervisor to attain or exceed individual goals.
Build trust‑based relationships with clients by listening, uncovering needs, and deepening customer relationships.
Support marketing campaigns and product launches, adapting sales techniques and leveraging branch technology.
Educate clients on self‑service capabilities and encourage use of digital banking channels.
Collaborate with management to stay abreast of new developments and initiatives.

Promote an environment of ongoing customer feedback and continuous improvement.
Respond to customers requesting account updates or closures, identify reasons for dissatisfaction, and offer alternatives.
Listen attentively to customer questions or issues and proactively resolve problems.
Risk Management
Support compliance functions including reconciliations, audits, reporting, controls, and records management.
Promote community involvement and report all CRA‑related activities to supervisors.
Identify fraudulent or forged documentation and report such activity to supervisors.
Maintain confidentiality of customer information and adhere to bank policies.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent; continuation towards a degree is desirable.
Minimum six months of cash handling and/or retail sales experience.
Demonstrated ability to provide courteous, timely, and informative service.
Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to teller operations.
