Family's Introduction to Nanny We are a lively and busy family navigating the complexities of our newly blended life. My wife dedicates a significant amount of time to her job, while my work often requires me to travel extensively, leaving us with a packed schedule. As we come together, we recognize that blending our families brings its own set of challenges, and we are committed to approaching these with patience and understanding.
One of our unique situations is that my son speaks Vietnamese fluently but has a limited grasp of English. This language barrier adds another layer to our journey as a family, making communication both necessary and challenging. Acknowledging these struggles, we strive to foster an environment of care and support as we learn to navigate this new chapter together. Patience is essential for all of us as we adapt to our lives as a blended family.
Responsibilities We are in search of a reliable and nurturing nanny to support our busy family and provide care for our son. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks, including light housekeeping duties such as tidying up the living areas, doing laundry, and preparing simple meals. Additionally, we would like the nanny to assist with tutoring our son in his homework and educational activities, ensuring he stays on track with his studies.
Occasionally, the nanny will need to run errands related to our child, such as picking up supplies, attending school events, or taking him to extracurricular activities. We are looking for someone who is patient, organized, and experienced in working with children. Flexibility in scheduling would also be appreciated to accommodate our family's needs.
