Key Responsibilities

Provides SMART customer service at all times through the daily execution of Lowe's customer service policies, procedures and programs.

Builds relationships with vendors by providing direction and checking to ensure merchandise resets are completed according to Lowe’s specifications.

Collaborates with the Merchandising Service team and Manager by communicating project priorities, schedule, and project needs.

Analyzes metrics and provides feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.

Engages with customers when opportunities arise, assisting them in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise.

Responds knowledgeably and promptly to customer and employee questions.

Communicates information about stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, application, and warranty information.

Moves or replaces beams and grids, rotates stock, builds products, and displays products using power equipment (e.g., lifts, order pickers) per reset and/or project instructions.

Identifies damaged products and removes them from shelves, delivering them to Return to Manufacturer area and marking defective.

Verifies buyback items and ensures they are prepped and ready for shipping.

Identifies damaged or missing signage and orders replacements per merchandising standards and planogram details.

Confirms product pricing information is visible and replaces missing labels.

Updates wayfinding and product location signage and digital maintenance across the store.

Ensures cross merchandise, side stack products, j-hooks, and gravity feed bins are placed appropriately to drive add-on sales.

Stages clearance and damaged merchandise for quick sale in cooperation with store leadership.

Sorts products into bins, drawers, and boxes to maintain proper location.

Merchandises to plantogram, prices, color blocks, and places plants per arrival schedule.

Fills plant racks onto plant tables per plantogram for grand opening readiness.

Completes and enters completion details, including photographs, for all assigned reset, service, and maintenance tasks.

Ensures all reset displays are safe and operational, repairing or replacing as needed.

Repairs or seals damaged packaging and boxes.

Removes trash, moves cardboard to bailer, and disposes debris.

Replaces light bulbs and alerts appropriate contact for additional maintenance issues.

Detects shoplifting, theft, and security risks, reporting promptly to management or Asset Protection.

Maintains compliance with housekeeping standards and programs (e.g., Zone Recovery).

Maintains a safe work environment, including daily safety reviews and hazard mitigation.

Adheres to safety requirements including top stock safety, safety cables, aisle blockers, tether lines, spotters, and safety devices.

Operates store equipment as needed (Zebra phone, telephone, paging system, copiers, fax machines, computers, CCTV, key cutter, panel saw, paint mixer, flooring cutters, compactor baler).

Manages point-of-sale signage and price changes adhering to state-specific guidelines.

Performs additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED General Studies or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

6 months of Lowe’s sales floor experience.

6 months of experience performing product merchandising tasks including reading planograms and plantograms.

3 months of experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.
