We are looking for a qualified Heavy Equipment Operator to work at our state‑of‑the‑art sawmill in
Quincy, California .
About The Position
Operate frontend loader to load/unload log trucks.
Sort logs by species and feed logs to the sawmill.
Climb ladders on heavy equipment and operate machinery.
Learn to operate chipper, heel boom loader, and plow snow with the loader in the winter.
The work is fast‑paced and can, at times, be demanding.
Repetitive lifting and working in both hot and cold work environments.
Work may consist of various shifts, with some overtime and weekend work during busy production times.
Qualifications
2 years’ prior loader operating experience preferred.
Proven ability to recognize and sort logs by species.
All applicants must be at least age 18.
