Job Description Domino's Pizza is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our team at our 3100 West Iles Ave. location in Springfield, United States. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated employees.

Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.

Manage and motivate team members to maintain high performance standards.

Run shifts efficiently, ensuring timely order preparation and delivery.

Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Manage cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records.

Assist in inventory management and supply ordering.

Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Participate in hands‑on tasks such as answering phones, taking orders, and cleaning.

Contribute to a positive work environment and team morale.

Assist in implementing company policies and procedures.

Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and operational goals.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food service or retail industry.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.

Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.

Proficiency in cash handling and basic financial management.

Ability to multitask and make quick decisions in a fast‑paced environment.

Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Proficiency in using point‑of‑sale systems and basic computer applications.

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Food safety certification (preferred).

Additional Information

Experience leading a team; during your shift, you will manage a staff of anywhere from 3 to 30 people.

A clean driving record and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check. Safety is a priority for us and we want to make sure anyone we put on the road is safe to be there. You will also need access to reliable vehicle that is insured and have a valid driver's license.

Our stores are open 365 days a week. Yes, that's right even on the weekends and the holidays; that's when we are busiest! While your schedule is pretty flexible, you have to be willing to work when the team needs you the most.
