About The Role We are currently seeking a Building Maintenance Assistant for our Maintenance team. This role will support the Building Maintenance Supervisor with general repairs, bid procurement, and coordination of maintenance projects across multiple trades. This is an onsite opportunity located in Houston, Texas and our Waller, Texas offices. This position requires legal authorization to work in the U.S. Candidates must be able to provide the necessary documentation to verify identity & employment eligibility through the I‑9 verification process.
Responsibilities
Assist in general building maintenance and repair tasks
Support bid procurement and track project statuses
Communicate effectively with subcontractors, supervisors, and employees
Maintain accurate records for maintenance activities
Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external requests
Participate in special assignments as needed
Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Who You Are
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic understanding of building maintenance needs
General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, carpentry, flooring, painting, concrete, and appliance repairs (preferred)
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently
Work schedule: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM (Standard hours: 8 AM – 5 PM)
