Central Florida Behavioral Hospital is a 174‑bed, private psychiatric center located in Orlando, FL. The hospital provides 24‑hour emergency services, and offers a full continuum of care, including inpatient treatment services for children, adolescents, and adults; and partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and ECT services for adults. Position Summary The Maintenance Technician performs a variety of duties in and around the facility buildings, repairing, inspecting, and maintaining equipment and machinery. The technician assists the Director of Plant Operations in completing tasks.

Responsibilities and Job Duties

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks in accordance with departmental procedures.

Complete weekly inventory of maintenance items for all trades.

Check lighting in and around the buildings, making repairs as necessary.

Maintain 100% adherence to department inspection schedules and procedures.

Complete work orders.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; trade or vocational school preferred.

Knowledge of facility maintenance, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, commercial door hardware, and landscape maintenance required.
