Senior Manufacturing Operator, 1st Shift M-Th 10Hrs
Join Integra LifeSciences and contribute to innovative healthcare solutions. This role involves post‑formulation processing, including cutting, inspection, defect identification, packaging, labeling, and boxing to produce finished goods. Responsibilities also cover sub‑assembly post‑chemical processing such as cross‑linking for collagen‑based products. All work is performed in ISO Class 5 or 7 cleanroom environments and follows GMP, Quality System Regulations, SOPs, and Health and Safety requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot process equipment used in the collagen business; make minor equipment adjustments as needed.
Perform precise measurements and add chemicals to batches accurately.
Cross‑link, cut, package, and box the product, inspecting for defects and ensuring quality.
Maintain gowning qualification for ISO Class 5 or 7 cleanroom operations.
Accurately record data, logs, books, and other records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with QA/QC/Material Management to ensure efficient flow of sub‑assemblies and finished products.
Enter production activities into Oracle MRP systems to issue material and labor hours.
Train and mentor less experienced colleagues, working with supervisors and leads.
Follow applicable SOPs, Quality System Regulations, and ISO 13485 requirements.
Desired Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent; science degree a plus.
Minimum 5 years of production and/or chemical processing experience in medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Basic computer skills for email and data entry.
Fluent reading, writing, and speaking in English.
Fundamental understanding of mathematics and chemistry.
Team‑oriented, willing to assist and train others.
Independent worker with minimal supervision.
Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting process equipment.
Capable of gowning to ISO Class 5 and 7 standards.
Availability for overtime, flexible shifts, and days as needed.
Support plant safety goals and maintain a clean work area.
Perform additional manufacturing activities as assigned.
Tools and Equipment Used Lyophilizers, autoclave, homogenizers, grinders, vacuum pumps, pH meters, thermometers, balances, water bath circulators, sonicators, humidity cabinets, mixers, centrifuge, blenders, air gun, drop indicator, filamatic filling machines, slicer machines, scalpels, temperature recorders, crosslinking and humidification chambers, compression unit, cutting table, sealing machines, shrink‑wrap machines.
Comp3> Hourly: $23.28 – $31.46 USD. Base pay is determined by role, level, and location. Additional variable compensation may be available. Salary ranges are set considering job‑related skills, experience, and education.
