Oversee the receiving dock area to receive, inspect, identify, count and verify quality and labeling of all materials and supplies delivered to the facility. Complete related documentation, coordinate the storage of supplies, enter information into the inventory database, and perform any additional duties necessary to keep the production process efficient while observing all safety regulations and quality standards.
Work Schedule Sunday–Thursday night, 11:00 pm–7:30 am. $18.50 per hour.
Position Responsibilities
Work Sunday–Thursday 11:00 pm–7:30 am.
Follow all company work methods, safety policies and procedures.
Ensure work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions immediately.
Review work schedule, perform safety checks on equipment, obtain required supplies, and prepare for operations.
Put on all required personal protective equipment and safety gear.
Meet required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.
Open loading dock doors, set dock plate in place, and prepare the area to receive products and supplies from tractor-trailers.
Inspect incoming trailers to ensure they meet company quality standards and take appropriate action as needed.
Receive incoming products and supplies and verify items against the bill of lading. Record counts accurately and verify quality and labeling of all materials and supplies.
Perform damage control checks, contact supervisor about removing items according to policy, inspect date-sensitive items, and perform temperature checks as needed.
Label and store supplies according to specifications and enter purchase order data into the inventory system.
Coordinate unloading and transport of items to staging areas using forklift or pallet jack. Assist forklift operators as needed.
Perform general housekeeping duties to keep the warehouse, loading dock, and trailers clear and clean.
Manage battery maintenance for forklifts, including recharging batteries and completing inspection checklists. Secure all equipment and complete all required paperwork at shift end.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Consistent work history.
Must be able to work the scheduled times and required overtime.
Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
Capable of lifting, stacking, and/or pulling products off shelves, as well as replenishing product, from various heights weighing between 10–35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60–90 pounds.
Able to work in multi-temperature environments such as cooler, freezer, and dry warehouse/production environments.
Pass pre-employment drug test.
Compensation $18.50 per hour.
