Base pay range: $15.00/hr.
Overview The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations. Acquires and maintains knowledge of products represented. Prepares, serves, and breaks down product, equipment, and supplies. Intercepts consumers and demonstrates products in a professional manner. Maintains an overall professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job.
Responsibilities
Possess aptitude to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job.
Properly set up and prepare Event Table for execution.
Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as Event execution.
Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.
Qualifications Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED; one to three months of related experience preferred or equivalent combination.
Computer Skills:
Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Local Food Handlers permit may be required.
Physical Demands:
Stand and walk during the shift; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms up to 65 inches; talk and hear; visual ability to read instructions; stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up ladder; balance; lift and carry up to 25 pounds or occasionally 50 pounds; push and pull wheeled demonstration cart fully laden; prepare foods and beverages using required appliances; contact cleaning supplies.
Work Environment:
Retail store environment with limited travel.
Language Skills:
English is primary; bilingual may be required based on necessity.
