HVAC Foreman

Full‑time, on‑site, requires out‑of‑state travel.
Job Description HVAC Foreman is responsible for maintaining open, positive, and professional communication with customers, vendors, general contractors, internal customers, and trade partners. The Foreman supervises employees and maintains a safe working environment compliant with government regulatory guidelines and RBS Safety systems.
Responsibilities
Ensure work site is compliant with OSHA regulations and RBS Safety protocols.
Ensure materials, installation and schedules are met.
Maintain consistent contact with General Contractors to be aware at all times of expected installation dates.
Request and coordinate HVAC material and equipment needs with purchasing department and/or project management.
Coordinate delivery of material and equipment to the job site general contractor and project manager.
Check options and equipment list to ensure material is correct.
Keep project status up to date to ensure timely delivery.
Lay out crews to install material on scheduled dates.
Attend and participate in GC meetings.
Conduct weekly inspections, and safety meetings. Provide copies of signed safety forms to General Contractor and RBS Safety team.
Complete all required job reports on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Walk job constantly to follow‑up with installers.
Schedule and direct quality control technician daily, communicate with technician constantly to maintain schedule.
Identify problems that need to be corrected.
Follow‑up on all purchase orders and/or extra work.
Manage Sub‑contractors, ensure work done meets contract and company requirements.
Keep up to date with all RBS Policy and Procedures, industry standards and government regulations.
Installation of HVAC systems.
Qualifications
Know relevant building codes, current legislation, regulations, policies and procedures for the installation and maintenance of systems.
Installation of HVAC materials, equipment, and appropriately matched systems.
Ability to work cooperatively with other trades.
Must have team building skills.
Analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
Effective verbal, presentation and listening communication skills.
Effective negotiation and mediation skills.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365 suite and custom accounting software.
Time Management and Stress Management skills.
Mathematical aptitude.
Must demonstrate proficiency and knowledge of air duct distribution systems, commercial, and industrial.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
OSHA 30 Certification required.
5 or more years of experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
Required to stand, walk, and sit.
Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
Use hand(s) and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls.
Reach with hand(s) and arm(s).
Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds.
