Shipping & Receiving Clerk Trautman & Shreve, Inc., a subsidiary of publicly traded EMCOR Group Inc., is a Colorado-based mechanical contracting and construction engineering firm with over fifty years of experience. We are seeking a full-time Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team in Denver, Colorado.

Job Summary The Shipping & Receiving Clerk ensures a clean, organized, and properly maintained warehouse, processes orders and requests from Service and Operations staff, and logs all deliveries and packages.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Tour the loading dock at the beginning of each shift to inspect for leaks, trash, dirt/debris, etc.

Organize, sort, and log overnight packages for pick up by the mailroom (delivery log and Maximo).

Ensure all third‑party packages and freight deliveries are sent into the building (log).

Sign for all FedEx and UPS packages (log).

Address spills and oil leaks from vehicles throughout the day, applying oil dry if needed and sweeping when dry.

Sweep dock areas.

Check all dock lifts for proper operation; ensure lift edges are in the up position when not in use to avoid damage by trucks.

Report any issues to supervisor(s) and assist trucks with questions or issues.

Sweep area after dumpsters are removed before dumpster returns.

Once a week (Fridays) wash down the loading dock lower area and all diamond plate coverings.

Record all deliveries/packages on the delivery log sheets and enter them into daily Maximo tickets.

Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a warehouse environment.

Basic skills in MS Office Suite applications.

Attention to detail and ability to work well with others.

Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification quickly.

Background working with trades (Electrical, HVAC, etc.).

Flexible work schedule; intermittent after‑hours and weekend work may be required.

Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Physical Demands The job requires regular sitting, observing, talking, and hearing. You will use your hands to handle objects and tools, walk, reach, and may need to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Regular lifting of up to 25 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 60 pounds is required. Vision and hearing requirements are specified. Travel to field locations may be required.

Work Environment Work will be primarily in warehouse conditions with moderate-to-loud noise. Frequent visits to construction field sites are anticipated.

Compensation and Benefits Hourly rate: $23–$26 per hour. Position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
